ABC CLUB

 

After burns Club is a club established to provide post burn support to children affected by burn trauma from grades K-8.  Those children includes burn survivors, their siblings, and all who have loss a loved one due to a burn tragedy. We provide help in the form of support groups, activities, and refreshments. Topics covered include teasing, anger, survivor guilt...etc...The atmosphere provides a safe space for the children to process problems and psychosocial issues associated with the unique problems that arise from burn trauma.

 

Meeting are held at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Houston and Galveston locations on the third and fourth Saturday of the month respectively.
